About the role

  • Infrastructure Engineer managing Azure subscriptions and resources at Capgemini Engineering. Supporting a mature and complex infrastructure with Azure admin expertise required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Azure subscriptions and resources, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies
  • Set up and manage storage solutions, including blob storage, file shares, and disk storage
  • Manage and configure virtual networks, including network security groups, subnets, and hybrid connectivity
  • Deploy, manage, and configure Azure compute resources like VMs, Azure Functions, and App Services
  • Manage and implement Azure Active Directory, Azure Policy, and governance mechanisms
  • Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to monitor the status and availability of resources
  • Set up and manage data protection solutions, including backup and recovery strategies
  • Secure Azure infrastructure using Azure Security Center, Network Security Groups, and Firewall
  • Use Azure Automation, PowerShell, and ARM templates to automate tasks and processes
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users and other digital team members
  • Allocate, monitor, scale, and modify resources as required

Requirements

  • 8+ years' experience as an Azure Administrator
  • Solid knowledge of core Azure services, Azure workloads, security, and governance
  • Must have knowledge in CICD setup using Azure DevOps for Dotnet and Node applications
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, and cloud security best practices
  • Proficiency in using PowerShell, Azure CLI
  • Knowledge of operating systems, virtualization, cloud computing, and networking principles
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience on MQTT brokers and IOTHUB
  • Experience on docker containers and troubleshooting the issues with containers
  • Experience on AKS
