About the role

  • Sr. Consultant (Technical Solutions Architect) at Capgemini Invent designing and implementing manufacturing solutions. Collaborating with clients and teams to facilitate digital transformation in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect technical solutions for manufacturing clients, leveraging IIoT, MES, AI Platforms, and modern IT/OT/automation technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver platform-based, scalable solutions that integrate shop floor and enterprise systems
  • Engage with clients to understand underlying needs, create requirements, craft technical architecture and integrated solutions, present solution architectures, and provide technical leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, solutioning, and technical presentations.
  • Lead with knowledge and know-how in emerging technologies with AI, analytics, micro-services, edge computing, IIoT, operational twins, and manufacturing automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Operational Technology (OT), IIoT, Data platforms, Manufacturing Execution Systems, or related fields
  • Experience with technologies from vendors such as Siemens, Rockwell, PTC, Microsoft Fabric, or Tulip
  • Background as a systems architect, application engineer, in a client-facing services role within manufacturing or technical consulting environments
  • Familiarity with micro-services architecture and edge devices
  • Ability to leverage and integrate AI/GenAI solutions into overall architecture
  • Ability to work in a hybrid role bridging shop floor equipment and data platforms.
