About the role

  • Optimization Purchasing Buyer securing materials for luxury brands’ product developments and coordinating repack operations for Puig. Supporting the Purchasing team in optimization and continuous improvement initiatives under optimal cost and conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Secure materials for new product developments and improvement projects under optimal cost and conditions.
  • Support the Purchasing team in driving optimization and continuous improvement initiatives with a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) approach.
  • Manage and coordinate repack operations to ensure efficiency, cost optimization, and compliance with internal standards.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to identify suppliers capable of providing materials at the best cost, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Participate in supplier negotiations, preparing purchasing proposals aligned with budget objectives and contributing to cost savings.
  • Monitor and ensure plan execution, tracking order deliveries, supplier performance, and component stock levels.
  • Conduct supplier price comparisons, cost breakdowns, and negotiation analyses.
  • Support the planning, execution, and follow-up of repack activities, coordinating with suppliers and logistics teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year in a similar position.
  • Degree in Economics, Business, or Engineering.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (French is a strong plus).
  • Proficient in SAP (MM module)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Good command of PowerPoint
