About the role
- Technical Buyer for turnkey new construction projects in Berlin. Responsible for procurement and supplier management in residential construction.
Responsibilities
- Procurement of building materials, subcontractor services and other services for residential construction projects
- Selection, evaluation and acquisition of suppliers and subcontractors to optimize quality and costs
- Leading negotiations and concluding framework agreements with subcontractors
- Conducting market analyses to monitor price trends in the construction sector
- Ensuring timely material availability and supporting site logistics
- Optimising procurement processes in close cooperation with estimating, site management and the technical team
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in technical procurement, ideally in residential construction or the construction industry
- Solid knowledge of supplier management and a technical understanding of building materials and construction processes
- Strong organisational skills, cost awareness and negotiation skills
- Team player with an independent and committed working style
- Experience with estimating software (e.g. RIB iTWO, BRZ) and MS Office
