About the role

  • Manager, Process Manager for GPN Portfolio Team at Capital One. Responsible for bridging product visions and operational execution with collaboration and oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the business owner to build roadmaps through forecasting grounded in capacity planning, high-level estimates of work and target dates
  • Harmonize competing priorities into a single, unified and actionable path forward by working with multiple stakeholders
  • Facilitate the intake process for new work entering the portfolio, ensuring the work is aligned to goals and has clearly defined scope and value
  • Adhere to Enterprise & GPN governance during intake, ensuring strong risk management, operational excellence, and transparent decision-making
  • Provide portfolio metrics, providing actionable insights to drive strategic decision making
  • Facilitate the prioritization of the Product Area / Family backlog in adherence to the GPN Portfolio Management standards
  • Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in Process management
  • At least 2 years of Jira experience
  • 4+ years of Product, Business or Technical experience (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in Process management (preferred)
