About the role

  • EHS Business Partner focusing on safety culture at leading European manufacturer. Collaborating with management and developing company-wide safety standards in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Standards & programs: You develop company-wide EHS standards and programs (e.g., “Life Saving Rules”) and implement them. This ensures a consistently high level of safety across all sites and allows you to share best practices throughout the organization.
  • Consulting & coaching: In a matrix organization you advise and coach executive management, plant managers and local EHS managers on all matters of occupational safety. Through targeted coaching you promote safety awareness as a core value and support cultural change processes—going beyond mere compliance.
  • Training & cultural change: You design and facilitate training sessions and workshops (using a train‑the‑trainer approach) to raise awareness and engage both leaders and employees in safe behaviours. In this way you drive change and foster a proactive safety culture.
  • Stakeholder management: In this role you act as a trusted contact for stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You work closely with the international EHS team and help ensure that occupational safety is firmly embedded and actively practiced across the company.

Requirements

  • Passion for safety: You bring an authentic interest in developing safe working cultures and enjoy empowering people and gaining their commitment to occupational safety.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments: Several years of professional experience in occupational health & safety—ideally in a manufacturing company—enable you to help implement pragmatic, site-specific solutions.
  • Professional qualification: A completed technical or safety-related qualification and relevant practical experience are required; a university degree is not mandatory but is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills: You demonstrate highly developed communication and facilitation skills. You are comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, conveying knowledge clearly, and motivating others toward common goals.
  • Languages & travel: Very good English skills enable you to collaborate within the international group. Willingness to travel up to 30% within Europe completes your profile.

Benefits

  • Scope to shape: A responsible position with significant scope to influence, where you can make a visible impact and actively shape cultural change in an international company.
  • Flexible working: After onboarding you can work remotely up to 3 days per week and enjoy flexible working hours.
  • Attractive benefits: Competitive compensation package including a company car (also available for private use) and additional benefits such as bike leasing, company pension scheme and group accident insurance.
  • Development & wellbeing: Extensive development and training opportunities and an on-site fitness area are available. You will find an open, appreciative corporate culture where safety is a priority.
