Responsibilities
- Lead the Contract Environmental functions.
- Provide Environmental solutions and enable the Contract Leadership / Operational Teams to implement the Group SHE Management System.
- Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders.
- Provide an independent and objective view of Environmental Performance on the Contract.
- Support and Influence Contract Leadership Team, Clients and Stakeholders in compliance with the SHE/ Environmental Management System.
Requirements
- Environmental related experience.
- Environmental permitting experience
- Relevant Degree or equivalent (NVQ Level 6)
- Extensive relevant Environmental experience in relevant industry and experience of managing and training others.
- Variety of contract/ sector requiring different skills/ knowledge
- Environmental Degree
- Institute of Leadership and Management Level 5 Line Managers tool kit or equivalent.
- Commercial Awareness
- Programme/Project management
- Specialist environmental courses- e.g. noise measurement, waste, contaminated land, CL:AIRE DOWCOP etc
