About the role

  • Manage media and ink portfolio for Canon, ensuring market and revenue relevance. Oversee product lifecycle and coordinate product launches in imaging supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and create product records in our ERP system (SAP)
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, including portfolio optimization
  • Ensure product availability for our customers
  • Coordinate product launches and updates
  • Define and maintain pricing and discount structures
  • Perform costing and margin management
  • Negotiate purchase prices with suppliers
  • Work closely with Canon Europe on forecasts, budgets and lifecycle topics
  • Provide up-to-date product information, tools and sales collateral
  • Support sales with applications, market positioning and customer inquiries
  • Identify market trends, target segments and new application opportunities
  • Enable campaigns, partner promotions and market launches

Requirements

  • 3–5 years' experience in product management
  • Advantageous: technical understanding of paper, media and/or printing applications
  • Solid understanding of commercial aspects (pricing, margins, procurement)
  • Proficient in Excel and SAP
  • Strong communication and coordination skills when working with diverse stakeholders
  • Independent, proactive working style and enjoyment of cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
