About the role

  • Community Assistant at Yugo responsible for resident support and community engagement activities. Providing exceptional customer service and assisting in the leasing and marketing process.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospective residents, and their guests.
  • Assist residents with inquiries, concerns, and requests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource regarding community policies, procedures, and services.
  • Play a significant role in the leasing and marketing process at their community.
  • Develop and implement engaging activities, events, and programs that foster community spirit and encourage resident involvement.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as managing resident inquiries.
  • Promote a safe and secure living environment by adhering to and enforcing community policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless operations and a cohesive residential community.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups of people.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and mentor others.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn about campus resources and services.
  • Understanding of and commitment to diversity, inclusion, and respect.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn software applications.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional special events.
  • Ability to be on-call for emergencies.
  • Current account is in good standing (if current resident).
