About the role

  • Senior Community Manager ensuring client retention and homeowner satisfaction in HOA management. Building relationships, supporting growth initiatives, and managing multiple communities in Los Angeles area.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of community associations while building strong relationships with board members
  • Prepare, coordinate, and attend board and annual meetings
  • Support long-term association needs such as planning, budgeting, maintenance strategy
  • Review monthly financial statements and provide insights
  • Coordinate closely with internal support teams and vendors for quality service
  • Monitor KPIs related to work orders, compliance, and contractor performance
  • Conduct periodic community inspections and enforce non-compliance
  • Ensure compliance with governing documents, civil codes, and policies
  • Verify contractor credentials and manage contracted services

Requirements

  • 5 years of HOA portfolio management experience
  • CMCA certification or the ability to obtain within your first 6 months
  • Evening availability for Board meetings
  • Ability to travel for in-person meetings
  • Keen knowledge of budgets and the budgeting process
  • Strong knowledge of audits, reserve studies, bidding process, and governing documents
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to work independently
  • Commitment to timely follow-up on all issues
