Provide risk assessments, incident investigations and root cause analysis, training, and support for audits and contractor compliance.
Responsibilities
Ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of occupational health and safety practices.
Promote safe working conditions, legal compliance, accident prevention, and a strong safety culture in alignment with the Integrated Management System (IMS).
Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Integrated Management System (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and FSSC 22000).
Identify, assess, and control occupational risks, proposing preventive and corrective actions.
Develop and execute accident prevention programs, including incident investigations and root cause analyses.
Deliver onboarding sessions, safety training, campaigns, and awareness initiatives.
Support the management of PPE, NR-12 compliance, legal requirements, safety inspections, and routine safety rounds.
Guide and monitor outsourced/contracted companies regarding health and safety standards and legal compliance.
Support audits, licenses, permits, and the management of technical documentation.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to promote continuous improvement in safety practices.
Requirements
Technical degree in Occupational Safety, with active registration with the Ministry of Labor (DRT).
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
Solid knowledge of risk analysis, regulatory standards, and fire protection systems.
Desirable: Internal Auditor certification for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, knowledge of Brazilian NR regulations, Firefighter certification, and basic English proficiency.
