About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and plan the activities of the Personnel Administration team, ensuring accurate payroll processing in accordance with labor and social security legislation.
  • Ensure deadlines and payment amounts are met, including the collection of social charges, taxes and fees, as well as submission of statutory filings.
  • Ensure correct application of labor legislation, collective agreements and conventions, staying up to date on legal changes.
  • Monitor and manage service levels of payroll, e-Social and electronic timekeeping vendors, tracking SLAs and KPIs and proposing improvements.
  • Supervise onboarding, vacation, timekeeping and termination processes, ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulatory requirements.
  • Review, create and validate departmental policies, processes and procedures, aligning them with current legislation and internal guidelines.
  • Support the legal department in labor litigation by providing information and documents, and acting as company representative (preposto) when necessary.
  • Track performance indicators for the area, presenting results, adjustments and improvement opportunities to management.
  • Provide internal teams with guidance on labor, social security legislation and personnel administration processes.
  • Work in an integrated manner with other People & Management areas to ensure adherence to HR policies and practices.
  • Generate reports and management information to support the organization’s strategic decisions.
  • Manage the team, promoting development, engagement, training and professional growth.
  • Respond to labor and social security inspections, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting, Economics or related fields.
  • Postgraduate studies in People Management or Business Management are desirable.
  • Solid experience in Personnel Administration, including team management.
  • Deep knowledge of labor and social security legislation, statutory filings and e-Social.
  • Experience working with payroll vendors and timekeeping systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership ability.
