About the role

  • Marketing Associate executing marketing campaigns at Byline Bank to support growth objectives. Collaborating across teams for effective project delivery in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing projects directed by the Consumer Marketing leader, including initiatives for Community Banking (Personal), Business Banking and Wealth Management
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns in collaboration with business lines and internal/external partners
  • Support various projects including but not limited to deposit acquisition and checking acquisition campaigns with an opportunity to lead initiatives such as Direct Mail, Branch Merchandising, Lifecycle marketing updates, and sales collateral updates
  • Oversee development and execution of marketing events as needed
  • Coordinate with Marketing Operations, Creative Services, Brand, Channels, and agencies to deliver projects effectively
  • Forecast, track, and report key performance indicators to support marketing reporting requirements
  • Maintain project plans and status updates in Workfront (project management tool) to ensure timely execution
  • Manage marketing budgets by validating estimates, processing invoices, and ensuring programs align with annual plans and budget targets
  • Develop and maintain familiarity with industry, market and competitors including products, advertising strategies, sales support, marketing campaigns, marketing capabilities, promotional activities and marketing best practices to enhance campaign effectiveness
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing or creative/media agency roles
  • Financial services or regulatory industry experience, a plus
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, external agencies, and vendors
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities, set stakeholder expectations, and deliver on time
  • Experience managing detailed budgets and ensuring accuracy
  • Results-driven with a bias for action and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Workfront (or similar project management tools)
  • Willingness to learn additional platforms such as Power BI and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment
  • Experience developing and delivering creative briefs, working with, and managing agency partners (preferred)
  • Experience with graphic design (preferred)
