About the role
- Junior Strategic Buyer for the BUTTING Group overseeing procurement processes. Engaging with suppliers and conducting negotiations in a hybrid working environment.
Responsibilities
- Organize and oversee the procurement process for materials
- Prepare and negotiate agreements (contracts, bonus agreements, price agreements, framework agreements, etc.)
- Conduct price and terms negotiations with suppliers for smaller-scale projects
- Perform commercial and technical analyses of quotations and prepare bid comparisons
- Act as a point of contact for customers, suppliers and colleagues
- Work closely with all stakeholders in the process to prepare and execute orders
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or a comparable qualification
- Business administration knowledge in purchasing / sales
- Knowledge of supply chain management
- IT competency (MS Office desirable, SAP preferred)
- Very good German and English skills (C1 level)
- Additional foreign languages advantageous (e.g., Italian, French, Japanese)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Confident presence and ability to deliver results
