About the role
- Perform various technical audits and control services including design review, specialized studies, expert studies, etc.
- Carry out technical audit, consultancy services, outsourcing, due diligence, design review, etc.
- Preparing Technical Reports.
- Attend meetings and discussions with client and authority.
- Capable of evaluating the design with Team leader support & utilising 2D/ 3D available software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in structure engineering
- Minimum 15 years experience as structure design engineer
- Conversant with relevant structural design software, techniques and codes (IBC, ACI, UBC, ASTM, AISC, etc.)
- Able to interpret design drawing and documents
- Licensed by Dubai Municipality (DM) for structural design review of unlimited height
- Computer skills in both MS Offices and Structural Engineering software.
- Good technical reporting skills in English language.
- Ability to handle discussions with clients and authority in relation to the design review services provided.
- Thorough knowledge of structural design of buildings, in particular those related to concrete, steel and composite materials.
