About the role

• Bauingenieur:in working on sustainable water resource management projects in Berlin. Planning, overseeing projects, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulations in an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Planning, design and supervision of projects.
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of specialists.
• Developing solutions for the sustainable management of water resources.
• Managing sewer network projects — from new construction to sustainable maintenance measures.
• Preparation of flood assessments for outdoor areas of residential and commercial projects and ensuring protection and climate adaptation.
• Participation in project implementation through the preparation of tender documents.
• Use of specialized software such as VESTRA: Kanal, Tandler: Kanal++ and BricsCAD.

Requirements

• University degree in engineering, ideally in civil engineering with a focus on urban water management (Siedlungswasserwirtschaft).
• Alternatively in process engineering, environmental protection, or a comparable field.
• Initial professional experience in a similar role, preferably with some experience in site supervision.
• Knowledge of relevant standards such as DIN, DVGW, DWA and VOB.
• Ideally you have worked with industry-specific software such as AutoCAD/BricsCAD, VESTRA KANAL, KANAL++ or ARRIBA.
• Experience with the Affinity Suite is a plus.
• You are used to working independently while valuing teamwork.
• You are open, motivated and customer-oriented.
• Business-fluent German, written and spoken (minimum C1 level).
