About the role

  • Test Manager responsible for managing test teams and strategies for digital solutions at Bundesdruckerei GmbH. Position based in Berlin with a focus on integration and system testing.

Responsibilities

  • Technical responsibility and cross-location operational management of multiple internal test teams for integration, system and acceptance testing, and coordination of various test projects
  • Development and introduction of test methodologies and test strategies for integration, system and acceptance testing, including reporting to management
  • Definition and implementation of appropriate metrics and continuous test improvement processes
  • Implementation, continuous review and optimization of the test process
  • Preparation of concepts, strategies and plans for testing complex system solutions, and enforcement of test requirements and objectives during the testing process
  • Execution and documentation of test activities; where necessary, derivation of appropriate corrective measures
  • Identification of test objects and test requirements, as well as prioritization and definition of test conditions

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a comparable field of study, with practical experience; additional qualifications as Certified Tester Foundation and Advanced Level Test Manager
  • Extensive hands-on experience in test planning, test control, test specification and test process design
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management, quality assurance, system development and requirements management
  • Experience in leading and coordinating a team
  • Good communication skills at both operational and management levels, self-reflection and tolerance for mistakes, and the ability to provide constructive feedback
  • Good command of English
