Responsibilities
Taking responsibility for controlling for a business unit
Acting as a sparring partner, including proactively advising the business unit on all business and financial matters
Reviewing and approving proposal and product cost calculations, including assessing profitability and commercial contract structuring
Supporting external price audits and participating in price negotiations
Regular reporting of key metrics, performing variance analyses and deriving (strategic) courses of action
Responsibility for planning and forecast preparation as well as taking on independent tasks related to monthly and annual financial closings
Performing ad hoc analyses, interpreting complex data and analyzing business and financial issues
Requirements
University degree in economics, business informatics or engineering
Several years of professional experience in a comparable position and relevant expertise in business controlling
Know-how in financial data analysis and the use of relevant controlling metrics/instruments; knowledge of public pricing law is an advantage
Proficient with Microsoft 365 and SAP (particularly FI, CO, MM, SD)
Strong analytical skills, a cross-functional, solution-oriented approach and pronounced business acumen
Confident stakeholder management and communication skills (German language skills at least C2 level) and negotiation skills across all management levels, with external customers and auditors
