About the role
- Design, deployment and operation of IT infrastructures with high security requirements
- Ensure stable and uninterrupted system operation
- Support the optimization of managed services to meet agreed system availability targets
- Implement automation for fault remediation and configuration of managed IT systems
- Secure the deployed technology stack through security measures and hardening
- Implement best-practice guidelines within the area of responsibility
- Provision and adapt environments for testing and integrating new or updated products and technologies
Requirements
- Completed IT vocational training (e.g., Fachinformatiker) or a degree in computer science
- Experience deploying and operating Linux server systems
- Knowledge of deploying and configuring automation and monitoring solutions
- Experience in storage administration for local and centralized storage systems is desirable
- Team player with an openness to new technologies and projects and a strong interest in working with open source tools
