About the role
- Information Security Officer ensuring compliance with security standards at Xecuro GmbH. Focused on enhancing security measures and consulting on information security issues for internal and external clients in Bonn.
Responsibilities
- Implementation, operation and continuous development of the company-wide Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with BSI standards
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, BSI IT Baseline Protection / IT-Grundschutz)
- Coordinating the development, implementation and updating of security policies and processes
- Responsible for implementing and monitoring the security measures defined within the scope of information security
- Presenting security status reports, identifying potential risks and proposing measures to improve information security
- Initiating measures for the continuous improvement of information security, such as regular security audits and adapting security measures to changing threat scenarios
- Involvement in all security-relevant decisions, projects and changes affecting the responsible information environment
- Advising internal and external customers during requirements gathering and solution design on information security matters
Requirements
- Degree in Security Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Business Informatics or a related field, or alternatively completed vocational training (e.g., IT specialist)
- Relevant professional experience and extensive knowledge in the field of information security, preferably as an Information Security Officer/Manager or in a comparable position
- Practical experience in applying relevant standards and frameworks (IT-Grundschutz, BSI Standards 200-1, 200-2 and 200-3, ISO 27001, minimum standards, etc.)
- Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 27001 certification based on IT-Grundschutz
- Independent and structured working style with a high standard of quality, an analytical approach and enthusiasm for developing own ideas
- Confident appearance, persuasiveness and decisiveness as well as strong team and collaboration skills
