About the role

  • Vice President of Brand & Creative at Huha, an underwear brand focused on body positivity and self-love. Leading brand strategy and creative initiatives for a small but growing team in Vancouver.

Responsibilities

  • Own the evolution of the brand strategy in alignment with business priorities, ensuring strong market presence and competitive differentiation.
  • Help define and ruthlessly uphold brand positioning, messaging, and creative direction across all channels.
  • Act as both strategist and practitioner: research market trends, understand audience insights, craft compelling messaging, and guide storytelling.
  • Lead high-profile brand initiatives, including rebrands, campaigns, partnerships and thought leadership programs.
  • Establish and govern brand standards and messaging frameworks to ensure consistency across all internal and external touchpoints, while always being in the seat of “guardian of the brand.”
  • Oversee and guide the development of creative assets, copy, photography, and content that bring the brand to life.
  • Partner with agency partners across creative, media, and PR to deliver impactful, brand-aligned campaigns.
  • Partnering with the VP, eCommerce & Digital Marketing, support the creation of integrated campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and emotional connection with target audiences.
  • Stay ahead of market and technology trends, incorporating innovative approaches and AI tools to enhance the brand.
  • Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to measure brand growth, campaign effectiveness, and audience sentiment.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize marketing initiatives to maximize impact and ROI.
  • Use data and insights to continuously evolve strategy, creative, and messaging.
  • Oversee and run market insights to ensure Huha’s customer is always deeply understood across the organization.
  • Partner with the CEO to understand and develop the brand vision and the future of Huha.
  • Build, lead, and inspire a team of creatives and brand marketing experts, establishing the processes, standards and vision needed to scale a high-impact brand.
  • Partner with eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Product, Customer Experience, and Sales teams to ensure brand strategy fuels growth and strengthens customer trust.
  • Lead and mentor a support team (e.g., Brand Manager), providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies, media, and external partners to amplify brand reach and influence.
  • Manage budgets, agency relationships, and vendor contracts to deliver high-quality work efficiently.

Requirements

  • Deep experience in brand strategy, creative execution, and storytelling, with a history of growing impact and responsibility over time.
  • Proven track record of leading high-profile brand initiatives and campaigns that deliver measurable business impact.
  • Experience managing agencies, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring direct reports.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire teams and stakeholders.
  • Data-driven and results-oriented, comfortable using KPIs and analytics to measure and optimize brand impact.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA a plus.
  • Experience in women’s lifestyle, fashion, or intimate apparel brands.
  • Hands-on experience with photography, copywriting, and visual storytelling.
