About the role

  • Customer Service Representative in an established insurance firm serving public sector clients. Responsible for finding insurance solutions and handling client inquiries in Detmold, Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Handle the insurance needs of our municipal clients
  • Identify and propose suitable insurance solutions
  • Negotiate with service providers, insurers and experts
  • Manage tenders, debt collection, claims handling, contract preparation and data maintenance

Requirements

  • Completed training as an Insurance and Financial Services Clerk (m/f/d) or a comparable university degree
  • Experience in client servicing and a strong customer focus
  • Very good Excel skills (preferable)
  • Knowledge of property/casualty insurance and procurement law (preferable)
