• Senior Engineering Design Manager leading municipal water/wastewater design projects for Brown and Caldwell. Delivering compliant designs and exceptional service while managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-discipline project delivery for municipal water/wastewater projects.
• Work on engineering designs preparing reports, construction plans, specifications, calculations, equipment selection, and cost estimates.
• Work with project leadership and design discipline leads to develop project scopes, schedules, pricing, teams, and execution plans.
• Actively direct multi-discipline design project resources and interface with clients.
• Convene, lead, and document multi-disciplinary design coordination meetings.
• Assume responsibility for meeting budget and profitability goals for assigned projects.
• Play an active role in the maintenance of existing clients and the development of new client relationships.
• Make decisions and solve problems.
• Participate in improving company resources and tools to improve design production and efficiency.
• Prepare and make presentations to clients for project technical meetings.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in related engineering field of Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 12 years of progressively increasing responsibility in related experience.
• Professionally registered (Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical) engineer required; license must be current and in good standing.
• Demonstrated strong project management skills.
• Ability to focus on client needs while balancing multiple, changing priorities.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Successful marketing, proposal writing, and public presentations experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead geographically diverse project teams in a virtual and hybrid work environment.
• Experience with multi-discipline project delivery using building information modeling (BIM).
