About the role
- Build and further develop our retail sales channel in Germany and, prospectively, across Europe
- Identify suitable retail partners — especially in grocery retail, specialty retailers, and chain stores
- Proactively approach, acquire, and manage key accounts in retail
- Strategically integrate our products into assortments, starting with our flagship products
- Develop compelling sales arguments and produce POS materials in close coordination with Marketing and Design
- Work closely with Product Management, Logistics, and Executive Management to ensure smooth operations
- Lead negotiations on terms, listings, and promotional allowances
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with buyers and decision-makers in retail
- Conduct ongoing market and competitive analysis in the retail segment to derive appropriate measures
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience (minimum 3 years) in sales of consumer goods within brick-and-mortar retail
- Strong network in the retail environment, particularly with buyers of relevant retail chains
- Proven track record of securing listings for new brands and products in retail
- Entrepreneurial mindset and the motivation to actively build and develop structures
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a confident presence in customer meetings
- Comfortable working with KPI-driven sales approaches and processes
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel within Germany and, prospectively, across Europe
