About the role

  • Project Engineer at Bouten Construction Company managing technical tasks for construction projects. Supporting project teams with aspects such as document control and submittal processes in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support project teams in managing the technical aspects of construction projects.
  • Process shop drawings, document control, request for information (RFI's), submittals, and change management.
  • Assist with preparation of bid packages and procurement.
  • Manage the submittal process and RFIs.
  • Manage BIM MEP 3D Coordination.
  • Prepare and manage procurement tracking logs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or other relevant degree.
  • 1-5 years project engineering experience with a general contractor.
  • Commercial Construction industry experience preferred.
  • Proficiency project management software (Procore, etc.) and standard business software (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
