About the role

  • Area Manager overseeing first mile operations for logistics provider in Egypt. Responsible for optimizing performance and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations in the First Mile segment, ensuring timely collection and processing of packages.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team to achieve performance targets; Conduct regular training to enhance skills.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (PSR, Return Promise, Lost, Exceeded Return) to assess effectiveness and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Process Optimization: Identify areas for process enhancement to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Merchant Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with merchants to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets for the area to achieve the FM cost, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Account Management, customer service and Fleet.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 Years of experience in a managerial role within logistics or shipping.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and performance management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
