About the role

  • Boeing is seeking an RM&SH Engineer for the Space Launch System program, supporting design and risk analysis. Key responsibilities include FMEA and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate risk of system failure
  • Support proposed changes in design using NASA methodology
  • Review supplier submittals from a RM&SH perspective
  • Mentor early career engineers and analysts

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications
  • Associate, Level 2: Typically, 2 or more years' related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experienced, Level 3: Typically, 5 or more years' related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Lead, Level 4: Typically, 9 or more years' related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Some SLS program experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to obtain NASA badge/access
