About the role

  • Regulatory Engineer supporting Boeing's telecommunications and spectrum policy interests. Collaborating with industry leaders and government bodies to advocate for regulatory strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering and technical analysis to underpin advocacy efforts on behalf of the Company’s telecommunications and spectrum policy issues before U.S. government agencies
  • Establish and maintain close contact with internal business partners, engineering and program leaders to understand and address their regulatory and policy requirements
  • Write concise internal reports, external regulatory filings, and presentations to internal and external executive level audiences
  • Work with all groups within the organization, being responsive to requests for support in a timely manner
  • Advocate on behalf of Boeing spectrum initiatives across a range of satellite, defense, commercial space and aviation programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering
  • 3 years of government relations experience with telecommunications or radio frequency spectrum regulatory and policy issues
  • 3 years of experience in Government Relations, Public Affairs and/or Issue Advocacy
  • Experience in a role that required strong technical, analytical, and writing skills
  • Willing to travel up to 20% of the time
