Responsibilities
- Serves as a key liaison between the business or function, to understand priorities and needs, developing strategies to ensure business objectives are met.
- Collaborates directly with business or function to understand problems or initiatives and represents the business or function within IT to engage the right resources, explores alternatives and helps deploy the right solution.
- Develops and executes communication plans, including status to leadership and to business or function stakeholders.
- Identifies risks and impacts and coordinates with business or function to approve mitigation plans or changes to commitments.
- Provides input and lessons learned on IT processes, procedures, tools and techniques, and ensures alignment to quality management solutions for the business or function.
Requirements
- Extensive IT experience
- Defence sector experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of MOD maintenance, equipment, engineering and supply‑chain processes, and relevant standards/compliance (MOD O/S, DEFSTAN/JSP, ITAR, EAR)
