About the role
- Senior Manager of International Treasury responsible for optimizing cash management for APAC markets. Working with cross-functional teams to manage and report on treasury operations and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Act as key treasury liaison to APAC markets.
- Understand legal entities' financial statements, key drivers of cash flow, and forex exposure to proactively address international markets’ cash needs.
- Work with International markets to understand statutory accounts and identify opportunities to maximize cash repatriation to the US.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize treasury operations and improve financial performance.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to inform treasury decisions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, accounting, and legal teams, to support business objectives.
- Prepare and present regular reports on treasury activities, financial performance, and risk management to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all internal controls, policies, and procedures related to treasury operations.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as required.
Requirements
- Minimum education of a bachelor's degree with a preferred focus in business or a finance discipline is required.
- MBA/CFA/CTP is preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of business or finance experience with the ability to demonstrate broad financial and business decision-making abilities is required.
- Additional experience in project management, treasury and/or international treasury experience is preferred.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail required.
- Must be able to learn quickly and understand complex issues, tax implications, and legal entity structure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Significant work with all groups within a Treasury function, and within a global capacity.
- Flexibility and sensitivity to cultural and cross-functional issues are vital.
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate APAC market needs.
