Responsibilities
Supervise the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cashier Desk teams.
Responsible for communicating decisions on operational plans and strategic planning.
Supervise technical teams performing financial functions.
Ensure hiring, supervising, training, and mentoring are adhered to.
Coordinate daily activities to oversee workload and quality of performance.
Ensure integrity of the agency’s fiscal program is accurate and in compliance.

Requirements
Four years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience; OR one year of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Demonstrated advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, Government Accounting Standards, and Oregon Accounting Manual.
Experience preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and overseeing month-end and year-end processes.
Proficient in the Statewide Financial Management System (SFMS) for the State of Oregon, or equivalent experience with SFMS.
Advanced Excel skills, including macros, pivot tables, and automation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Leadership/supervision skills – Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
Excellent communication skills – Ability to communicate with team members and management.
Compliance and control skills – Experience ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Exceptional attention to detail – Ability to identify missing or inaccurate financial information.
