About the role
- Privacy & Commercial Manager at Blinq ensuring compliance in data protection and privacy workflows for a fast-growing startup. Optimizing processes while supporting global growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Own vendor procurement, privacy, and data protection reviews end to end
- Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, DPAs, and related commercial agreements
- Lead vendor and customer privacy due diligence and risk assessments
- Act as the main point of contact for GDPR & SOC 2, including liaison with the DPO
- Maintain core compliance artefacts (ROPA, SCCs, TIAs, TOMs, subprocessors, DPIAs)
- Own cross-border data transfer compliance and documentation
- Draft and maintain privacy policies and compliance documentation
- Support data incidents, audits, and regulatory responses
- Build scalable privacy, procurement, and compliance processes
Requirements
- Proven experience in privacy, data protection, and commercial contracting, ideally in a SaaS or technology environment
- Strong working knowledge of GDPR, DPAs, SCCs, TIAs, and vendor risk management
- Experience drafting and negotiating MSAs, DPAs, and privacy-related contracts
- Ability to balance legal risk with commercial pragmatism in a fast-paced business
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning processes end to end
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on building scalable systems
