About the role

Responsibilities
- Strategically further develop procurement activities for the MEA region and identify sourcing opportunities to strengthen supply security
- Establish and develop appropriate supplier relationships, including supplier visits and initial audits (technology, quality, capacity)
- Conduct price and cost benchmarks and derive concrete measures to improve competitiveness
- Independently lead price, contract and framework negotiations and manage supplier performance and risks
- Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Logistics and Finance to support projects, expansions and new product lines in the MEA region
Requirements
- Several years of experience in strategic procurement/sourcing, ideally with international exposure
- Experience in market, technology and cost analyses and in deriving actionable measures
- Confident manner as well as strong communication and negotiation skills in intercultural contexts
- Excellent written and spoken English and willingness to travel, particularly to the MEA region
- Structured, analytical way of working and experience with KPI-driven procurement processes
