About the role
- Senior User Research Specialist conducting user studies to shape player experiences. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive design and strategy in video game development.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and conduct user tests, analyze results, and present findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with game design, product management, and other researchers to integrate insights into game development and product strategies.
- Develop and maintain research protocols, including observation grids, interview guides, and questionnaires.
- Apply a variety of qualitative and quantitative methodologies (e.g., usability testing, surveys, longitudinal studies).
- Contribute to knowledge sharing through documentation and workshops.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in user research (games industry experience is a plus).
- Strong fundamentals in research methodologies (mix-method approaches, survey design, data analysis) and UX principles.
- Master’s degree in social science, psychology, UX design, marketing or equivalent.
- Strong ability and willingness to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of the video games industry is a prerequisite.
