About the role
- Data Center Sr. Project Manager overseeing large hyperscale data center construction projects. Ensuring compliance, cost management, and project completion under budget in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the project including cost management and ensuring safe on-time completion under budget
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment through active participation in site planning
- Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal legal requirements
- Conduct operational project meetings with appropriate parties
- Negotiate and prepare vendor and subcontractor agreements
- Evaluate submittals to ensure compliance with contract drawings and specifications
- Manage coordination of quality assurance and control
- Conduct monthly project cost reviews
- Manage project’s Accounts Receivables and Payables
- Responsible for obtaining and coordinating necessary permits and documentation
- Ensure alignment of project budget and scope through change management
Requirements
- Extensive experience in large ($50+M) hyperscale data center construction
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related technical discipline or 10+ years of Project Management experience working for a mechanical subcontractor in the areas of commercial HVAC and Plumbing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Well-versed in the industry and the Company's competitors
- Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary
