Responsibilities

  • Debt capital management, e.g., tenders, contract negotiations, service agreements and oversight of additional contracted service providers; reviewing funding/subsidy opportunities
  • Handling day-to-day activities related to financings, e.g., when fixed-interest periods are expiring
  • Refinancing management: developing and implementing financing concepts
  • Structuring interest-rate hedging portfolios and overseeing their implementation
  • Developing and implementing simulation models and forecast calculations
  • Defining and implementing the investment strategy in coordination with the specialist departments
  • Capturing and assessing market views relevant to existing or planned financial positions as part of risk management
  • Executing and recording financial transactions for refinancing, interest-rate hedging, cash and capital investments, including directly recording all financial transactions in the position-keeping systems for companies, funds and project/special-purpose entities
  • Supporting the preparation of decision-supporting reports for internal corporate stakeholders
  • Providing support for projects and ad hoc requirements in cross-team topics within the Finance department
  • Preparing for and participating in meetings with rating agencies
  • Investor relations management, contributing to and preparing reporting obligations, e.g., covenant calculations, analyses of financial/key performance indicators, and payment instructions

Requirements

  • Degree in economics/business administration or mathematics, or an equivalent qualification acquired through professional experience
  • Strong financial-mathematical knowledge of the mechanics of derivatives
  • Knowledge of banking operations
  • Confident manner and assertiveness
  • Proficient use of relevant software tools (MS Office) and good SAP skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and an independent, structured working approach
  • Very good analytical and conceptual skills, entrepreneurial mindset and behavior, high integrity and ability to work in a team
