About the role
- Projektmanager leading the implementation of a Warehouse Management System for Bergzeit, a logistics firm. Responsible for coordinating with partners and supporting system development.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate external service providers and liaise with internal IT
- Collaborate with the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics
- Support the selection process for a new WMS provider
- Take responsibility for successful project delivery from planning through go-live
- Provide support and further development of the system after go-live
Requirements
- You have vocational training or a degree in logistics, business administration, or engineering
- Several years of experience (3–5 years) in maintaining and implementing WMS systems, ideally in 3rd-level support
- Practical experience in logistics, especially with AUTOSTORE systems
- Strong process understanding — IT knowledge is helpful but not required
- Strong analytical skills and project management competence
- Experience coordinating vendors and working with interdisciplinary teams
