- Design robust, scalable, and secure architectures for Guidewire solutions
- Design the software architecture for implementing new strategic features

- Provide coding standards and best practices
- Manage system complexity by breaking systems into flexible, maintainable modules
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure solution alignment
- Document architectures, systems, and processes clearly and in a maintainable way
- Maintain ongoing technology watch on deployed solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- More than ten (10) years of relevant experience in developing technology solutions, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in the Gosu language and Guidewire ClaimCenter tools
- Strong experience in software architecture, Java, and the Spring Framework
- Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS)
- Proficiency with DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus
- Experience in test automation: JUnit/GUnit, JMeter, BDD, Selenium
- Knowledge of distributed architectures, SOA, and microservices
- Experience in the insurance industry (an asset)
- Technical leadership, ability to influence and communicate complex ideas simply
- Ability to work in an Agile environment (SCRUM / Kanban / SAFe)
- Fluency in French and functional working proficiency in English
