About the role

• Technical Consultant with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics applications. Providing consultancy and technical management across AX 2009, AX 2012, and D365 Finance & Operations environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical application management and consultancy across AX 2009, AX 2012, and D365 Finance & Operations environments.
• Participate in the installation, configuration, optimisation, and maintenance of application components.
• Manage and execute release cycles, patches, and deployments across test, QA, and production environments.
• Develop and maintain integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Power Platform components, and Synapse Analytics.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, ensuring system stability and performance across all environments.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants, developers, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support migration and upgrade initiatives from legacy AX versions to Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL processes, internal governance, change control, and security procedures.
• Provide technical mentoring to junior team members when required.

Requirements

• 3–6 years’ experience in technical consultancy or technical application management.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 and AX 2012 (technical administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning).
• Strong understanding of D365 Finance & Operations technical components.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Azure Logic Apps
• Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse)
• Strong background in installation, deployment, and release management in multi-tier environments.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines and source control (GIT).
• Solid understanding of integrations, APIs, data flows, and security models.
• Excellent proficiency in Dutch (written and spoken).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
