About the role
- Analyst supporting sustainability goals for Bellwether's clients through data collection and analysis. Collaborating across teams to develop reporting frameworks and support sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Help execute sustainability strategies and initiatives on behalf of clients;
- Gather, consolidate and analyze data and metrics that track progress and performance of clients’ sustainability programs globally across various funds;
- Develop and implement processes for organizing large-scale datasets to gain insights that support business decisions;
- Assist in the production of high quality, accurate and timely reports to clients;
- Liaise with consultants, clients and work closely with asset and property management teams to ensure quality and consistency of data ;
- Develop strong working knowledge of available data sources, including expertise in the utilization and interpretation of sustainability-related data;
- Track market trends and implement emerging tools to streamline workflows; and
- Perform additional ad-hoc analyses, as needed.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Deep interest in sustainability and the commercial real estate industry
- A bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Sustainability Management, Business, Data Science or a related field
- An advanced degree in similar field is beneficial/ preferred
- Sustainability credential/certificate preferred (e.g. LEED, GRI, SASB or similar)
