About the role

• Analyst at Yamaha responsible for preparing cost estimates for new products and components. Collaborating with teams to optimize costs without compromising quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare target cost estimates for new models, parts and components;
• Perform critical cost analysis, cost planning and cost development with the objective of meeting project cost and profitability targets;
• Participate in the make-or-buy process and in defining the PCL for new models;
• Critically review the costs of parts to be developed (quotations for new items);
• Prepare cost valuations for new models during project validation stages;
• Assist in preparing presentation materials for project validations;
• Assist in the process of defining the selling price of new models together with the commercial/sales department;
• Assist and monitor Cost Down activities for new models;

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering;
• Advanced level of English required;
• Intermediate Excel skills;
