Responsibilities
- Manage BECU Cares and People Helping People Awards, ensuring milestones and timelines are met.
- Contribute to event planning and execution for Day of Purpose and other enterprise events, ensuring alignment with program goals.
- Develop KPIs and reporting cadence to track program performance and impact.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and scale programs for future growth.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, vendors, and community organizations to strengthen engagement and deliver exceptional experiences.
- Oversee vendor contracts and ensure cost-efficient, high-quality service delivery.
- Commute frequently to Tukwila and Seattle-area event sites to provide hands-on leadership and support.
- Maintain adherence to applicable regulations and internal standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work/education experience.
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of functional experience.
- Typically requires experience managing project teams.
- Community engagement or employee engagement experience.
- Program management experience with a proven ability to scale initiatives.
- Event planning experience (critical for program-related events and Day of Purpose).
- 3+ years in project management.
- Familiarity with DEI principles and ability to apply a DEI lens.
- Communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in Financial Services Industry.
