Responsibilities

  • Manage clients' payroll in compliance with applicable social and tax regulations (multiple collective bargaining agreements)
  • Collect and verify information required to prepare pay slips (hours worked, absences, bonuses, etc.)
  • Monitor social security filings and payments of social contributions
  • Respond to clients' payroll-related inquiries
  • Carry out payroll procedures related to employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Maintain regulatory watch on legislative and collective agreement changes affecting payroll and social charges.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' professional experience managing payroll across multiple collective agreements, in a firm or payroll outsourcing agency
  • Strong knowledge of social legislation
  • Knowledge of SILAE is a plus
  • Good understanding of the challenges and constraints related to company payroll
  • Meticulous and methodical, able to meet payroll processing deadlines
  • Strong communication skills to interact with social agencies; customer-service oriented
