About the role
- Corporate Credit Risk Analyst at BBVA safeguarding bank solvency while identifying financial trends. Supporting credit processes and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in a diverse environment.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the team in safeguarding the bank's solvency while enabling business opportunities
- Contributing to the end-to-end credit process from initial pre-screening and financial analysis
- Developing high-quality credit assessments for CIB clients
- Assisting in the preparation of strategic materials for Credit and Business Committees
- Liaising with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Identifying financial trends or events that could impact client credit quality
Requirements
- Foundational understanding of financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow)
- Knowledge of Credit Risk principles and the CIB landscape is highly desirable
- Interest in ESG integration within financial analysis
- Previous experience in banking, consultancy, or a corporate finance department is highly valued
- Previous experience in Credit Risk Underwriting would be an advantage
- Experience in data handling and financial modeling is a plus
- University Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or similar
- English: Full professional proficiency (written and oral) is mandatory
- Spanish: Fluency is highly valued
