About the role

Responsibilities
- Developing responses to Requests for Proposals (RfPs), ensuring adequate project planning for scope, timelines and budget.
- Monitoring project/program status and delivery including milestones, risks, challenges, budgets, etc.
- Serving as the primary escalation contact for delivery issues and proactively ensuring timely resolution with a well-defined action and communication plan.
- Creating and delivering audience-tailored communication, such as executive summaries for clients, senior updates, and project status reports.
- Intervening, when necessary, to ensure costs, timelines and quality are on track.
- Leading and supporting a team of Data Architects, Data Engineers and Business Analysts by providing mentorship, career development, performance feedback, and fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture.
- Leading a cross-functional team to deliver projects/programs based on scope, within budget and on time, and to the satisfaction of our life science industry stakeholders.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders in the life science industry to understand their needs and translating into executable plans for the project team.
- Developing plans, timelines, and budgets for projects/programs for which you are responsible.
- Tracking and reporting on project/program progress, identifying and mitigating risks as needed.
- Facilitating communication and collaboration between the project team, life science industry stakeholders, and other teams within BASE life science.
- Bridging requirements from business stakeholders towards technical solutioning and product output.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a technical project/program manager within the life science industry.
- Successful track record of managing technically complex Data analytics projects/programs.
- Familiar with dataviz tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense,…), data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks,…) and cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Experience in leading technical teams and delivering data driven projects/programs.
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project etc.
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies such as SAFe.
- Strong communication skills, both in writing, meetings and in presentations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
