Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing, monitoring, and documenting credit risk for a portfolio of clients
- Monitoring changes in credit profiles, compliance with credit agreements, and structuring and underwriting new financing solutions
- Assessing risk solutions adhering to the bank's risk appetite and risk strategies
- Coaching and leading team members
- Providing expert level advisory guidance in complex debt capital solutions
- Collaborating with Relationship Managers and other product partners to assess client needs
- Underwriting and structuring complex credit transactions with minimal oversight
- Oversight of assigned portfolio to maintain credit quality
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years commercial credit underwriting and analysis with a commercial bank or OEM captive finance organization.
- Strong knowledge and comprehension of loan and collateral documentation
- Ability to accurately analyze borrower’s financial picture and deliver a comprehensive risk analysis to manager and risk officers
- Confidence and ability to develop an independent viewpoint and present a business case to support conclusions
- Excellent relationship management skills, experience working in a team environment, ability to help influence constituencies with diverse views towards consensus
- Coaching and mentoring skills
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills
- Minimum of 10 years commercial credit underwriting and analysis with a commercial bank or OEM captive finance organization in the auto retail space (desired)
- Direct customer-facing experience in a goal-oriented environment (desired)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (desired)
