- Tax Compliance Analyst ensuring federal tax compliance and delivering regulatory obligations within the financial sector. Role involves oversight of federal taxes and internal audits.
Responsibilities
- Professional responsible for calculating federal taxes applicable to the financial sector and for filing ancillary tax obligations, ensuring compliance with the Receita Federal (Brazilian Federal Revenue Service) rules and financial institution-specific regulations.
- Calculation of IRPJ, CSLL, PIS and COFINS, taking into account rules specific to financial institutions.
- Submission of ECD, ECF, EFD-Contribuições, DCTF, DCTFWeb and PER/DCOMP.
- Tax reconciliations and validations, ensuring alignment between tax, accounting and regulatory systems.
- Support for internal and external audits and regulatory reviews.
- Monitoring changes in tax legislation and regulations applicable to the financial sector.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Law.
- Experience with taxation for financial institutions.
- Solid knowledge of federal taxes and ancillary tax obligations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel and applied tax mathematics.
- Plus: knowledge of technology, including automation tools, analytics, data manipulation, RPA or digital solutions applied to the tax environment.
