About the role

  • Senior Sales Manager developing technical sales solutions for Baker Hughes across O&G and Industrial sectors. Leading sales teams and crafting pragmatic solutions for operational challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Leading discovery sessions with O&G, Industrial customers to understand their key operational challenges (driving profitability impact) and drive to key drivers of those operational challenges
  • Highlighting the challenges caused by operational practices related to maintenance, reliability, inspection, testing of equipment or caused by operational work processes and strategies for maintenance, testing and inspection.
  • Hypothesizing potential scenarios of information, tool or skill availability that can drive material change to the operational challenges identified.
  • Landing agreement on preferred scenario with the customer, through a cause effect review
  • Crafting a practical, feasible and pragmatic solution (roadmap, architecture and integration) for operational challenges for identified scenario leveraging capabilities from IS portfolio (condition monitoring, asset strategy, AI and physics-based anomaly detection, process optimization etc.).
  • Proposing the solution in line with the potential business opportunity that the solution creates
  • Partnering with account teams to suggest the best site/plant to pilot or scale the identified solution.
  • Collaborate with account teams in evaluating key stakeholders and garner background information on account, roles and priorities.
  • Coordinating sales teams involving engineering, legal, risk, finance etc. Department is involved in medium-large sales. Handles big or challenging markets and multi country

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Technical Sales
  • Strong Project Management background
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills and unmatched leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
