First Line Manager - Electrical overseeing frontline maintenance and upgrades for RNZN platforms. Managing trades and ensuring safe, on-time, on-budget outcomes under the MFSS contract.
Responsibilities
Lead the frontline trades that keep RNZN platforms mission‑ready.
Work closely with the Production manager to coordinate Marine Electricians, Weapons Technicians and Radio/Radar Technicians to deliver safe, on‑time, on‑budget maintenance and upgrades under the MFSS contract.
Set targets, allocate resources, and hold progress against the Integrated Master Schedule while upholding technical reports, HSE, and Trade Control.
Turn plans and work instructions into sea‑worthy outcomes that matter to Defence—real ships, real schedules, real impact.

Requirements
Technical vocational qualification/certificate in a related trade discipline.
Approximately 5 years’ relevant technical/maintenance experience.
Eligible to obtain and maintain NZSIS Confidential Vetting (CV).
Construction Induction Card (White Card) and eligibility for FOUO/ITAR access.
