Senior Project Controller at Babcock managing complex manufacturing projects in the nuclear sector. Leading project controls team and ensuring integrated project delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Project Controls team across multiple workstreams.
Develop and maintain integrated project schedules (Levels 1–4) to support successful project delivery.
Define, implement and manage project control structures including WBS, OBS, RBS and CBS.
Ensure alignment between key project control tools, including Primavera P6, Cobra and IFS, for accurate schedule, cost and material requirement tracking.
Provide regular schedule updates, metrics and analysis, including critical path and resource/cost‑loaded forecasts that inform financial and delivery performance.
Requirements
Experience using Primavera P6 in a project planning or project controls environment.
Understanding of earned value management techniques and rules of credit.
Experience working across full project lifecycles, from bid through to closeout.
Experience with integrated scheduling and project structure development (WBS/OBS/RBS/CBS).
Experience applying forensic planning techniques.
Relevant professional experience in project controls, planning, or a related technical discipline.
Experience using Cobra (training can be provided) - Desirable.
Working knowledge of IFS to Level 5 - Desirable.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
